Updated version 1.3 As always choose game mode and defeat opponents in a fierce war where no force will surrender for victory in Northenzil!!! Have Fun, Made by dudeofwar FROM SCRATCH this map features many things like first person camera, vehicles like tanks (can be riden of course) lots of places in a big city and a great variety of weapons with different abilities, attack, etc. First 2 versions took me 7 months and this last 1 took me 1 month so comment! also this is V1.3 because I uploaded the map on other site and I registered here some days ago. I would also like to thank this page because I learned a lot of things from here. THX to all that submitted tutorials and helped me while doing this

Oh yeah WhiteWyrm? well first if u arent going to say something really CONSTRUCTIVE, then keep ur comments, second, Version 1.6 isnt even CLOSELY compared to this, just wait I uploaded today, Third, did u check the instructions of the camera before posting? its hard I must admit but IT WORKS, I can tell u and I have heard people that tells me it works, thx for the comment but really say something constructive next time

Ok sorry Kenak I guess ur right but i was a bit mad in that moment and yeah well what u think of it personally (Give ur raiting) and soon Ill be updating this map to 1.4 with lots of things fixed that people have telled me :D so think this was a good job? more-less or a waste of time?

Orea, refere to my previouse post, it answers most of your complaints.

And what the hell is with you people? I've never said any of your maps are bad. I just basicly said people can give your map a 1/5, just because you disagree doesn't make it wrong.

A map doesn't have to have great triggers or be nicely compact to be good. All that matters is gameplay and presentation (tooltips, good grammar, etc).

A well triggered map is a well made map. A compact map is an efficient map. Both of these are great for maps, but it doesn't make them good.

Dudeofwar, a few things if that was meant to be at me:

1) I wasn't talking to you. Read the conversation before replying.
2) I've made several maps from scratch. The Footmen Wars map above this one was made from scratch. I've also worked in a partnership on Ice Troll Tribes and Ice Troll Tribes II (a Best Pick on this website) as well as "Kyx's Kings and Knights". Check them out if you wish.
3) It's irrelevent whether the person judging your map is good or not. You don't need to be a good map maker to tell whether a game is good or not. Even if I've never opened the WE, I'd still know what is considered good and what's bad. Just because a map has real good triggers, has a real nice setup, etc. but isn't fun or enjoyable, it can still be a 1 or 2.
4) What you believe deserves a 5/5 and what others believe deserves a 5/5 is not one of the same. Just because you don't think something deserves a good rating doesn't mean it actually does.

Me... or Kenak... Because mine WAS made from scratch! And the bs piece of shit votes on my map is way off... It doesn't have fudging comment up in epicwar.. So people without deciency can put a 1 for no reason. And I calculated it. It was given 1 for no reasons... And you know how I know how? People give it 1s when it's only 1 minute out! LITERALLY! It just comes out and people already voted 1... Not even enough time to play a game.

I've got some honest reviews... And the average was 4/5. I can deal with that. They told me what was wrong and I am working on it.

Kenak... Show us a halfway decient map that you made, by yourself (excluding models/skins/icons/ect.) that all 3 of us can say is 1) Great Triggering, 2) Great Gameplay, and 3) Nicely compact... Though with a lot of imports, that can be a challenge.

Your map is not a 1/5, but it could be a 2/5 or even a 3/5 to some people. They have their opinions and probably have a good reason to go with that opinion.

I say small size is always 100% good. Under 1.5mb is a must usually. But under 1mb is the best. Thanks to Vexorian's Wc3 Map Optimizer, people can save mbs of memory using it. I saved like 1.2mb!!!

Just be pickier about your models and icons and sounds.

And I'm pretty happy. My new map version that I'm working on is totally awesome! Way better than 1.9b!

Primary Weapons! Secondary Weapons! Melee Weapons (Basically only the knife...)!!! W00TY W00T!!!! And bullets can't pass the bigger trees unless you BLOW THEM UP!!! Wheeeeeeeeee!!! lol!

It took me a while to get the new buying system and ammo system up, but now I think it looks good :D But that's just my oppinion. WCIII lovers who also love CS will take a liking to this map, but will also know it needs improvement... Because I never played CS before :p

I might have been the only one who didn't know this since I never used winrar till my buddy showed me in school, but you need winrar to open the file.

Try these tools out. You'll love them. The widgetizer does take a while to get it's job done, but it's worth it to decrease loading time...

Also speaking about size I know it does matters but it also means that the map brings lots of stuff like models, sounds and offers things beyond the normal so I would personaly say that size is 50% bad and 50% good :D

Sadly... Some people who vote on it are dungheads and give it a 1 for no reason. Probably because they can't make a game like that, or that they can't open it... Either way... I know a 1 is far from a realistic score for my map... Not trying to be concieted or anything. But everyone who checked it out that I know loved it...

Sigh... I dislike how this place makes you put a .jpeg image with your map during submission... It's extremely irritating.

I did all I could to reduce the size. I even sacrificed quality to 25%. But it's still retains an amazing amount of detail and only takes up 100 kb.

What I'm saying is, if people take too long to download it online in BNet, they will leave and then nobody will play it. Size does matter. The games with more full houses (Other than DotA) usually take less than 1mb of memory.

But then there was DBZ Tribute Ultra V9.3 by Gotenkz which was nearly 3mb. It had high popularity but as all of his other versions, its popularity decreased. Then the website was removed. Hardly anyone supported it anymore.

Reduce your size and the game should have more people who play it, not saying people will like it more, but there will be some more full houses(which everybody loves).

And it's obvious u have a lot of models because 1: during the game there are a jackload of them; and 2: your map size is 3.5mb, Triggers and Terrain only go so far. The rest is imports. My latest map is like 1mb of imports.

But sometimes protection doubles the size of the map. If that is so, it's still a big map. And the Wc3 Map Optimizer will negate the need to use that method. Get it at war3sear.ch. For some reason, I can't type it in and go there. So I google it.

Well... That could be my bad. I admit. My vision is getting worse by the day. Yet I'm not even remotely an adult yet... Don't even have my driver's license...

But I could've sworn that it said shotgun when I bought it. Check the unit buy tooltip. But still he looks a bit gay.

And the map optimizer and widgetizer are essential tooks for map makers.

Also, I have a new map. Check it out. It's pretty sweet compared to the previous version.

Anyway, just remove some of the models because I honestly think they are gay and not worth it.

But the Marine models by Talon The Mage are awesome. Sadly the sniper bullet sucks.

My map... Honestly took maybe a month for the first version. For all of the changes, maybe 1 and a half months. The thing is my terrain is simpler, and I know my triggering deciently well.

And my first map, made all by myself is Warlords of Counterstrike, the original 3v3v3v3 version of Counterstrike Tactics. It's a decient map. But it's outdated compared to Counterstrike Tactics. But soon I'll update it.

Anyway, for a first map, it's pretty good. But you are using way too many imports. I mean... 3.5mb? Most maps in circulation don't go over 2mb. That's why I prefer to be very picky when choosing which models and icons can be used in my map. If it's a model with over 150 kb, it must be darn good. And if the icon is over 20 kb, it must be a very good one.

And my new Loading Screen, made by DarkAvian, was originally 1mb... I was shocked.

Oreo I tried ur map and can I ask how long it took u? THIS TOOK ME 8 MONTHS Ive hosted this 3 times on the Net and people like it but of course they tell me what should I upgrade and I think I putted a lot of effort to this because ITS MY FIRST MAP oh well everyone has their likes and I respect that and Thx for suggestions ill make a new version with all of this fixes and plz comment more

Sorry for the spam, but apparently I hit the max space...

Anyway...

The guy who made your bullet models, use his marine models and gun models... The pistol might look crapy on it... But you can keep the Blood Mage. Anyway... Like I said, the Sniper Bullet model isn't Talon's best work... I think Talon The Mage made it anyway...

Anyway... I think you should definetally add an assault rifle...

And increase the range on all of the units... Machine Guns don't have such crappy ranges... At least 700-800 for average ranges... Maybe 2500 for sniper...

If you want... Check out my map... It's here on this site... I used spells for the Firing Mechansm... It's cool, but hard for noobs...

And when my new one comes out, check out my machine gun... It'll be awesome. :D

Anyway... Change most of your unit models... Your vehicle models own.
Sounds are great, and... Well I think you get the points you need to fix the most.

I think if you put a little more work into it... And fix the stuff that makes it look funky, like those Computers that look like they belong in Star Trek, it could be real great.

Well... The game is insane... But not in a good way... It's like crazy everywhere and kind of confusing... Worse than my game... And my game is crazy confusing for noobs... Anyway... I reccomend taking out those gay as hell sniper bullet models... I took them out of my map before I even released it. The guy who made them is good... But that is his worst work ever. They look slow as hell... And the model sizes, they are crazy big... The vehicle models look tight, I'll give you that. But their interface icon sucks ass. Make it a normal one. Don't EVER make a unit's interface icon a skin file. I think it's interface anyway... And the creeps are way too buff lol. They kill the heroes in like 3 seconds flat. And some of the models are gay as hell... Like the shotgun... OMG! A Storm Trooper? Are you kidding me? A Rifleman would've been perfect and would reduce map size. The Pistol on the Blood Mage was great though. I can't believe I didn't think about that... Probably I'm sticking with all marine models... Anyway, for the guns... You need assault rifles, smoke bomb (though hard to make), and tear gas...

You did an okay job... The sounds are okay... But they trigger too much and they get annoying.

Some of the spells are missing their research icons. Fix that. And some of them are missing their tooltips. I'm the type that likes to be well informed, so the more descriptive the better, but keep it right to the point.

I didn't try every unit, but I know you need a lot of work.
