Remember that first time you played DOTA? When your friends enticed you into a game and then proceeded to pummel you for several hours before you realized that you don't actually get stats by just buying the recipies? Expect this experience from Bene Mori Tournament. BMT is a huge game with multiple aspects that one has to be aware of to be successful in a match. Experience brings skill (practicing your button-mashing on the side doesn't hurt either).

Basic Rules include:

- 3 points wins you the match (configurable)
- Must kill enemy flag carrier and return flag to score
- Flag auto-returns after 10 seconds of being on the ground

Additional game aspects include:

- neutral creeps
- super creeps
- Mannoroth (boss)
- Mid-field PvP
- Defense
- Item builds



V1.2 Patch Information

AI system - V1.2 is the first patch to offer AI players. The computer player will aim for the enemy flag and enemy fc and is capable of returning and scoring the flag. AI players will pick random paths to get out onto the field and into the enemy base and will use spells and abilities to combat other players.

Issues with AI: There are 2 currently known glitches with the system. Every now and then a computer player will seemingly become "stuck" on a section of the map just north of the taverns. The computer player will interact with other units entering the zone, but will not leave it on its own accord. Once the hero dies, its functionality will return to normal. The second glitch occured twice during 8 AI testing games. A computer player who was entering his base with the enemy flag became "confused" and took a step back for every few steps forward.

Additional Patch Info:

Rogue
- Backstab damage has been increased by approx. 400%
- Damage dealt by Kidney Shot and Deadly Throw decreased by approx. 40%

Balance Druid
- Moonkin aura now gives 150% mana regeneration (up from 100%)

Warlock
- Effectiveness of life drain decreased by 15%

Arms Warrior
- Execute additional damage has been nerfed
- Damage increase of Warcry has been buffed
- Area of effect of Warcry has been decreased by 250 yards

Alchemist
- Base health has been increased

Pirate
- Base damage increased slightly
- Base health increased slightly
- Cheap shot damage increased slightly

Elemental Shaman
- Lightning shield can now target allies but not enemies
- Chain lightning now does 915 primary damage (down from 1150)
- Serpent totems now do twice as much damage

Marksmanship Hunter
- Arcane arrows now increase auto-attack damage by 60 (up from 35)
- Frost arrows now decrease movement speed by 15% and attack speed by 20% (up from 10% each)

Prot Warrior
- Area of Effect of demoralizing shout has been decreased by 750 yards

Berserker
- Weeping cleave now does 585 damage (up from 485) but does not do damage over time
- Spiked armor now accurately gives 2 armor (down from 6)
- Base agility decreased to 91 (down from 97)
- Crit damage reduced from 4x to 2.5x
- Shadow Axes now will only spawn skeletons if a hero dies
- Shadow Axes skeletons now only last 50 seconds (down from 60)


- Super Creeps now spawn outside safe zones and will not enter an enemies safe zone. Additionally all Super Creeps have had their health nerfed by 50% and damage by 15%.

- Neutral creeps will now go out farther before running back and can no longer be ranged at ease

- A glitch involving multiple glyphs appearing at glyph-spawn locations has been solved

- A glitch involving dead units respawning as neutral creeps has been solved.

- Various stuns have increased/decreased durations

- 4 new items are available. 3 of them are Epic items. Epic items are expensive and require long item chains to aquire, but give high stats and each have a unique ability. The last item is the games first Legendary item, the Devout Spaulders. The Devout Spaulders give mana, mana regeneration, intelligence, a usable healing spell, and increases the effectiveness of one spell for each of the four healing classes

- Names and costs of a few items have been modified.

- Spells, Items, and Hero portraits have undergone a completely unnecessary but entirely cool icon revamp.

- New Hero: Goblin Techies

- Mannoroth will now only spawn after his gate is destroyed, making it so he cannot be soloed by ranged heroes
