Castle Wars Professionals is one of my many maps. This version is complete and is the last version of the First Edition. First edition versions are v0.5 and v0.6. v0.7 will be moved to the next edition, featuring a new storyline but the same heroes and items, and a new map layout and terrain.

It all started like this. I recently uploaded v0.6 to Epicwar.com with complete features. I was about to make v0.7 as a new edition with the same terrain when the unprotected backup of my v0.6 was gone due to a hard drive failure. The backup can't be restored, so to create v0.7, I had to make a new layout and create the map from scratch, from terrain to triggers.

v0.7 will be much more interesting that this one. It'll be uploaded in the next months.

Genres:
v0.6 contains three genres: Castle Defense, Hero Defense and Campaign. But the main genre is Castle Defense.

Concepts:
Playing this map is like playing Age of Empires and DotA at the same time, you select your main hero in a tavern and build a base and progress through three Ages to bolster your army. You defend your teammates and your team's base, like in DotA. You research upgrades and build expansion bases, like in Age of Empires.

Players:
5 players per team, 2 teams [alliance and forsaken], Neutral Hostile and NPC's , 10 user players in all.

Objectives:
- Destroy the buildings of All the players of the opposing team to win.
- You lose if all of your team player's buildings including yours are destroyed.

The features are listed below
- Two teams; Alliance (Humans and Lordaeron Monsters) and Forsaken (Undeads and Underlings), battle each other for supremacy. Each team has a host of five user players to assist each team and use strategic tactics to totally annihalate the enemy team.
- 40 heroes to select and use. Each has one normal abilities and 5 hero abilities including Attribute Bonus. Some heroes have 2 normal abilities and some even have multiple Ultimates.
- Custom AI allowing CPUs to select their Heroes and to build their structures and create a diverse techtree of their own.
- 75 Units including minor heroes, workers, hireable monsters in player-built merchants and soldiers.
- Three Ages
a) Discovery Age - The starting age of a town. Units range from peasants to soldiers. Supports minor units with low ranks.
b) Warfare Age - An age where the town begins to expand. Powerful soldiers are trained and economy rises, making wars much likely to occur.
c) Imperial Age - The highest ranking age. Allows Players and CPU to train high ranking units and also use advanced units and build exceptional structures.
Features of Imperial Age
- Players and CPU can build their own player-built Gold Mines called gold vaults, which can store up to 5000 gold for harvesting.
- Players can hire monsters of any kind, ranging from Murlocs to Death Revenants.
- Players are now allowed to build their own Heroes' Guild. Heroes' Guild allows more advanced warfare and an important vessel to winning wars if you reach the Imperial Age.
- Multiple Quests, with them, comes a buffet of rewards like gold, elixirs and magical items useful in battle.
- 18 effecient game controls and modes.
- Item Recipes
- Supports Mini Games
a) Archery Range - Allows players to enter the archery range and to select a variety of practicing styles . Players can dodge a beastmaster's stampede to get a reward when you survive, evade the projectiles of the Mortar Teams (One projectile deals 100 dmg), and duel practice-only monsters.
b) Dueling Arena - Allows players to duel against monsters, demons and strong warriors to gain rewards.
- Many neutral buildings like stables and outposts.
- Advanced Leaderboard. Can show and tally the following
a) Time Elapsed (clock system made by jonadrian619 from scratch)
b) Total Unit Deaths (Includes kills from creeps and uncounted kills)
c) Total Hero Deaths (Same as above, only tallying the total deaths of all heroes including neutral hostile ones)
d) Player Kills
e) Current game control used
f) The title can change into different colors, each color shows up by 0.50 seconds. Just a fancy leaderboard feature.

Those are the features. The map can be laggy if you play on a Mac or in a slow PC, especially if the video quality is too high (thus slowing the game). In this case, on a slow computer.

This map was made on a super-fast computer that my brother uses and upgraded it. The computer has a high quality video card and a sound card.

CREDITS:
- I also give credit to Olofmoleman for the Nazgul Rider model for use in one of my heros.
- Map is protected by Heavylocker, credit and special thanks for BlackDick for the HeavyLocker map protector.

I'm waiting for your comments for this map, please try playing the map and enjoy it. And if you found a bug please notify me, via a reply to this thread, or emailing me at [email protected]. I'll fix that bug in v0.7, because I'm using the trigger data that was saved when v0.6 was 50% complete.
