Introduction

After a long while away, i decided to return this time to the multiplayer side of Warcraft 3. The whole point of Gold Attacker's is to destroy your enemies base with units that you buy from collecting gold. Sounds easy? Think again. You have around 2 minutes before special units are allowed to be purchased, in that time you need to collect as much gold as you can, as well as survive the special effect. It's a fast paced game, with people who are good at tactical games it lasts for around 6 minutes, unless they are all great then it can keep going on for a long time. I've tested this map throughly, and still find a few bugs but for the first time I didn't find any.
At the moment this map is protected, to keep it safe from most people who would steal content. Below is direct information about the map.

Map Info

4 Human Players
Two different game modes, 2v2 and FFA (Host decides)

2v2 - Player 1 (Red) & Player 2 (Blue) Team up and go against Player 3 (Teal) and Player 4 (Purple). The battleground of the map is in the form of a +, at the start Players 1 and 3 battle each other and 2 and 4 battle each other. Teamwork can still be accounted for with teams sending as much as they can at the same time meeting in the middle to fight off the enemy. If one of the players go down, then the remaning Player goes against 2 other players but is given a nice bit of Gold.

FFA - Free for all, not my prefered game type but others my enjoy it. Its the same stratergy, your forced to go against the person across you at the start, but battles will occour in the middle. After you defeat your enemy you then get to decide who you kill.

To Win: Defeat all your enemies, to help you do this you need to save up your gold and upgrade your troops. You can easily kill someone who doesn't upgrade at all without purchasing special troops. It's a tactical game, while sounding simple it is actually a pretty fun and indepth game.

Working together is a must if you going against pro's. If theres no team communication then why you playing with other people?

Gold Collector's

1 each, If they die they have a 30 second respawn timer. Now at the start you are in your own area by yourself collecting gold that respawns in a forest. Every so oftern you or your enemy will be teleported out or into an area with another Gold Collector. Now it's up to you, whether you kill the enemy and recieve 200 gold or play Cat and Mouse. Check the Hints for more information about winning easier.

Each bit of gold is worth 50 gold, except for the large bag which is 200.

The key to success is to keep control over your gold collector, you main source of income, while spawning special troops at the same time.

Wolves

Wheres the fun without a teleporting wolf. Every so oftern a wolf will spawn, which can be killed easily for 400g. But be quick, he will soon teleport away from your area into another persons, maybe your enemies.

If you kill him you will get, of course, 400 gold but you will also recieve a good item. It may be a basic item to sell, or a good item such as the legendary BOOTS OF SPEEEEEDD!, he also drops a couple of spells which help you immobilize and kill your enemies gold collector. This can also be a challenge trying to keep an eye out for the wolf. At the start he's a good source of income.

Bounty

Another form of Gold Income is the Bounty, you get this from killing your enemies. Thats about it for the Bounty, other then becarful. Powerful units which are killed by your enemy will give them ALOT of gold. Time yourself when your going to spend a lot of cash on a unit, if you do it at the wrong moment then the tables can be turned.

Skill or Luck?

Some aspects of this game is about skill, but even skill can let you down. During my tests on Bnet, i've been owned a couple of times down to luck (and i made the game ^^)

Upgrades

You can upgrade your troops at your Town Hall, this is vital that you maxx out your upgrades ASAP. They make your gold collector stronger and every unit you can buy as well. As I said before, this DOES determine a game's outcome.

Hints

Want tips on how to win? Tough, play the game and learn your self! No, im kidding. Heres some ways to win!

Teamwork - Very handy, if you send your troops together it will cause a devastating effect on the enemy. You've been warned!

Upgrading your Gold Collector - Not many people use the shop in the games i've tested, but those that did usually won. You can purchase tomes which increase your hero dramatically.

Saving - Very important, unless they are right at your doorstep, saving plays a big role in winning. Get the Seige Engine and defend it, if it reaches the enemies base then pewpew is all im saying.

Even as I continue to test the game, i find small little ways to win - keep them to yourself is my advice.

Units

Footmen - Don't cost a thing, automatically spawn. Bad damage, Bad speed, just fodder.

Timber Wolf - Lower HP then the Footmen but much quicker, dealing more damage. Costs 30 gold. Very cheap

Skeleton - Higher HP then the Footmen and a bit more damage, attack speed is slower and so is the movment speed. 75g

Saytr - Basic Unit once you get a good income or have a lot of cash to burn. Higher HP, damage, speed, atack speed then the Footmen. Cost 100g.

Knight - Mounted warrior, quick as the Wolf, high HP and has Cleave which hits multiple units. Costs 350g, high bounty though.

Ogre - A Tanking unit, high hp, pretty slow and huge, damage is average. Get 3 of these and they block the path, could be useful. 500g, high bounty price.

Bandit Lord - Has Devotion Aura, high hp, fast and Chaos damaging attack. Is the best attacking unit for warfare. 1500g, very high bounty.

Seige Engine - The strongest, has 2000 hit points, very high. Deals 60 seige damage. Balanced so it's speed is the slowest in the game, needs defending. Very Very high bounty. 2500g, get into the enemies base with this and pewpew.


NOTE

Any buggs, comments - anything really post them here. Also suggestions for future versions would be brilliant. This is 99.99% leakless, lagless, size is small and its fun. Goodluck!
